PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle your information.

Plain language, no surprises. Last updated October 2026.

01Who we are

ComputerPlus Incorporated (“ComputerPlus”, “we”, “us”) provides ERP consulting, custom software development, business hardware and Android games. We are based at 58 North St, Uxbridge, Ontario L9P 1C2.

This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information through our website, when you contact us, when you do business with us, and when you play our games. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

02Information we collect

We collect only what we need:

  • When you contact us: your name, company, email, phone number, the services you’re interested in, and your message.
  • When you request a hardware quote or buy from us: contact, billing and delivery details, and the equipment you’re ordering.
  • When we work for you: business contact details for your project team. Any personal data inside your SAP or other systems is handled under our contract with you, and we access it only to do the work.
  • When you apply for a job: your résumé and the information you send us.
  • When you visit the website: we don’t use analytics or tracking tools. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.

03How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes.
  • To deliver projects, support, hardware and services you’ve asked for, and to invoice for them.
  • To review job applications.
  • To keep the website running and secure.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for anything unrelated to these purposes without asking you first. We send marketing email only if you’ve agreed to receive it, as required by Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), and every message includes a way to unsubscribe.

04Our games

Smash ’Em is available on Google Play. Rabbit Run and The Minotaur’s Maze are in beta.

Our games don’t require an account. Scores and settings are stored on your device.

Crash reports and usage statistics. We use the reporting built into the Google Play Console. If a game crashes, Google collects a crash report with technical details such as the device model, Android version, app version and what the game was doing at the time. Google also gives us summary statistics, such as installs, active devices, countries and app ratings. These reports don’t identify you by name or email, and we use them only to fix problems and improve the games. Google collects and keeps this information under its own privacy policy.

Emailing us from a game. If you use a game’s email option to send us feedback or a question, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the game, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

Google Play processes your download and any purchase under Google’s own privacy policy. If you join a beta, we receive the email address you use to sign up, and use it only to manage the beta and send you test builds.

05Sharing your information

We share personal information only when needed to do the work, with:

  • Hardware manufacturers and distributors (such as Dell, Lenovo and Cisco), to fulfil and warranty your order.
  • Service providers that host our email, website and accounting systems.
  • Professional advisers, such as our accountants and lawyers.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

These providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local law. We require them to protect it.

06Cookies

The website doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

07How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires (for example, seven years for tax records). Enquiries that don’t lead to business are deleted after two years.

08How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections and limiting access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we’ll notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

09Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it (which may affect our ability to serve you). We’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
